Breast Center of Excellence Marks Ten Years of Service

The TTUHSC Breast Center of Excellence (BCE) held its Annual Partner and Provider Meeting Sept. 29 at the Northwest Texas Hospital Community Lecture Room. The 2018 meeting also celebrated BCE’s 10 years of providing community service in the Texas Panhandle.

Cancer Screening Information Fair to Take Place April 14

Texas Tech Physicians of Amarillo is hosting a cost-free cancer screening information fair for the general public from 10 a.m to 2 p.m. April 14 at SimCentral, located at 1280 S. Coulter St. This Saturday event is also free to all TTUHSC staff, students and faculty.

ABC24WT Grant Extended

The Breast Center of Excellence learned Aug. 16 that funding for its ABC24WT program would be extended by the Cancer Prevention Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) for an additional three years.
